‘House Party’: Katy Perry Buys a ‘Guest Mansion,’ Our Biggest Decluttering Regrets, and More

We all know that celebrities love to splash out, especially when it comes to real estate. So we weren’t exactly surprised to learn that two A-listers—Katy Perry and Kylie Jenner—made major additions to their housing portfolios this week. We did, however, roll our eyes at the fact that the homes they purchased are mere minutes away from their current residences in Los Angeles. Two houses in the same city? We may never understand the lifestyles of the rich and famous, but we did break down the details of their new stately mansions on this week’s episode of “House Party.”

We also took a look at two unique homes that just hit the market: a spooky island villa that’s been abandoned for 70 years and a high-tech, futuristic home that comes with a drone helipad (you know, for when Amazon drones are legalized).

Decluttering—the home improvement task you either love or loathe—was also in focus this week. We’re all for sharing organizational tips and tricks (in fact, we’ve shared quite a few of them here), but this week’s discussion was about the things people actually regret throwing away. We’ve all been there, right?

You can find all this, plus our favorite weekly segment, Real Estate Winners and Losers, on the latest episode of “House Party.”
