‘House Party’ Podcast: What’s Scarier in a Home, a Dead Body or Dirty Shoes?

With Halloween less than a week away, we dived into one of the scariest topics for a homeowner: a death inside their house. This led us down the rabbit hole of asking (and answering) questions like: Do you have to disclose that someone died in the house when you sell? Would you live in a house where a murder occurred? And the age-old question: Do you believe in ghosts? Spoiler alert: Two out of three of us are open to the possibility of paranormal activity. Can you guess who?

From gruesome to gross, we also had an enlightening discussion on the controversial topic of wearing shoes in the house. Are you a shoes-off household, or do you let your guests keep their shoes on? If you fall in the latter camp, our conversation might make you reconsider!

We also turned our attention to a place where shoes are optional: Margaritaville. Specifically, the “active adult community” called Latitude Margaritaville in Daytona Beach, FL. For the first time in history, game show “Wheel of Fortune” is giving away a home—and the place they chose is smack-dab in the middle of the Jimmy Buffet wonderland.
