‘House Party’ Podcast: Most Offensive Houseguest Behaviors; Kanye’s Crazy New Home Purchase; a Kansas Mansion With Scuba Tunnels?!

“House Party” is realtor.com’®s official podcast about the overlapping worlds of real estate and pop culture, hosted by Natalie Way, Erik Gunther, and Rachel Stults. Click the player above to hear our takes on this week’s hot topics.

Most of us can safely say that we’ve had a horrible houseguest at one time or another—you know, that person you smile at through gritted teeth as you secretly long for the guest room to be vacated? We’re not naming names, but in this week’s episode we discuss the most offensive behaviors in a houseguest—and how you can avoid being the one whom everybody’s hoping will skedaddle sooner rather than later.

Also, did Kanye West just make his craziest home purchase yet? You’ll never believe where the superstar and his wife, Kim Kardashian West, bought their latest property—although it is Instagram-worthy.

Other topics we touch on:

  • Home upgrades millennials couldn’t care less about. (Your resident millennial co-hosts have some differing opinions here)
  • A Kansas megamansion where you can literally scuba dive underneath. (This is, in our humble opinion, the absolute craziest property we’ve ever come across on realtor.com—you’ve seriously got to see it to believe it.)
  • And, of course, our celebrity real estate winners and losers. Our loser definitely didn’t have a home run with his home sale, but our winner hit the right note with her latest purchase—which is pretty sharp, if you ask us.

So what are you waiting for? Subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Google Play Music, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. And please: Throw us a five-star rating if you like what you hear. The more good ratings and reviews we have, the easier it’ll be for people to find us.

Want to chime in? Have your own crazy home-related story you’re dying to share? We’re all ears, eagerly waiting to discuss all your burning real estate questions. Email us at podcast@realtor.com, follow us on Facebook, or tweet us @housepartypod on Twitter.
