In a plot twist worthy of daytime TV, former “Days of Our Lives” star Arianne Zucker and her partner, Shawn Christian (an actor who also appeared on “Days”), have put their Studio City, CA, home up for rent for $10,000 a month.
According to public records, the home was purchased for $1,395,000 in 2014. That was the same year Zucker divorced her husband—”Days” actor Kyle Lowder—and officially began dating Christian.
In 2017, Zucker announced she was leaving “Days” when her contract ended. Now that they’re no longer on the show, the couple apparently have an interest in moving out of the area, which is near the Burbank studio where the soap opera is filmed. NBC recently confirmed the show was was picked up for its 54th season.
Real-life drama intruded on Zucker’s life two years ago, when a decade-old “Access Hollywood” clip was leaked during the presidential campaign. Featuring show host Billy Bush and Donald Trump, the behind-the-scenes tape was recorded in 2005, when Trump was set to make a cameo on the popular soap opera. The two men were captured on tape discussing Zucker’s looks in crude language amid a series of lewd remarks.
Zucker’s Mediterranean-style residence offers five beds (all en suite) and six baths. The first floor includes a formal dining room, a kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and stone counters, and a family room that opens to the backyard.
The master suite features a walk-in closet, fireplace, private balcony, and bathroom with spa tub.
Other details include a mix of hardwood and travertine flooring, a gym, and convenient location to shopping and dining.
Frankly, the fun outdoor space might be the high point of the home. Perfect for parties, it features a pool, spa, “Tiki-style treehouse” and bar, fire pit, and lounge area.
